Dear NE-IBLM friends and colleagues:
We were wondering how best to tap into and share the diverse experiences and rich expertise all of you bring to the Community here in New England and neighboring areas--and in the process help build and deepen the connections with each other.
We hope that the Community Blog on the NE-IBLM web site will provide a forum where we can all hear about the activities you engage in: to deepen your IBL practice, to develop and share your resources; we want to witness your insights and join you in pondering your questions. In this blog you will be able to do so in an informal, personal voice, so we all get to hear the many individual and unique voices that make up our IBL Community in the New England region.
For example, we hope to hear about the many activities we are engaging in, be it alone, in small groups, or as a whole Community: such as participating in conferences or running workshops, collaborating in an online reading group, engaging in a Professional Learning Community (PLC), working closely with a coach, visiting each other in our classrooms, sharing materials you have found helpful, pedagogical tools that have made a difference for you, etc.
We welcome your ideas and contributions!
Best wishes,
Volker, for the NE-IBLM Leadership Team
